Suppose there’s a few people that build a very very fast networking stack for communications between domUs in the same host, i.e. for softswitches, firewalls, storage domU’s etc.
Suppose they even get some involvement from NetAPP.
Suppose what they end up is so fast that it exposes scaling flaws in SMP linux.
And they’re presenting it at Usenix09, but otherwise they don’t talk about it. No mention on any of the Xen lists, no visible sources anywhere, seemingly not even interest in adoption.
How ODD can you be?
